Very late on this one, but I had some extra things come up, and on top of that I really struggled to decide how to proceed here. But, ultimately I decided and will now work on lining and coloring this page to post as soon as possible.

Not much in the way of backgrounds for now since the characters are inside Gwen’s barrier. I just added some contours in the first frame to remind me of the shape when I do the colors.

Luckily this page wasn’t too difficult, because I got a very late start this weekend. I ended up going over 24 hours, which was most of Friday and Saturday, without electricity. Now I try to line and color this.

I decided again that the backgrounds on this page will be simpler to do once I’ve got the foreground lined and colored, so I left them out in the sketch. I’ll get to lining and coloring this page now.

Later than usual this time around because I had to make a lot of decisions about upcoming pages before I could really finalize this one. There are still a lot more decisions to be made, but at least I made enough that I could get drawing. Now I line then color this.

There was a lot to do in this page, and took me a while to figure out how I’d fit it all in, but I got it. Now I rest then line and color this.

I didn’t include the backgrounds in the sketch this time, and I probably won’t in most pages moving forward. These types of backgrounds are much easier to do when the foreground figures are all lined and colored. Doing things that way means I can be much sloppier with roughing things in, and at this point I shouldn’t really have to do a cleaner sketch now that I know exactly the process I want to use. It also means I won’t have to be as precise when it comes to the lining, which is always useful and easier on the hand.
