Late update is late but nothing new about that. Yet again the page was much more trouble than it should have been to sketch as I’m still not over this problem of having a difficult time with this phase. At least this part is nearly complete so hopefully things start to work out better by the time I start the next part.

Sorry for the very late update. I was very, very slow in drawing the last two days to get this done. I spent forever with my script first as I had a lot of uncertainties as to how to finish this part in regards to the amount of pages I want to finish it in and how I want it to transition into the next one. Due to vast amounts of uncertainty even after finally getting past that stage I simply redid many parts of this page far too many times before finally deciding to go with what I had. It wasn’t even an overly difficult page to sketch once past that, but after all of that hassle I was just in a slump in terms of being okay with anything I did so it made the page far more difficult than it had to be. At least the sketch is done, and although I’m very far behind as a result of all this I’ll still try my best to have everything done by end of day Friday.

Now that I’ve taken care of the couple extra things I wanted to address in this part there should only be a few more pages before it’s ready to move on to the next part of this act, which will finally include a different activity between these two.

Late sketch again but I was both quite busy with distractions yesterday and then I struggled with how I wanted to do this page. There were a few options for Gwen to handle this and I had a difficult time choosing which one when doing the detailed script of the page. The different scenes for this part are quite similar at the start and I feel it important I maintain some variety between them so it has been leaving me extra hard on myself about the flow/layout of each page.

Sorry for the delay but I should be back on track. I planned to have this done last night but I had to be asleep extra early since I had to be awake extra early this morning for some final appointments. There may be one or two more things to handle this week, but those should only set me back a matter of hours as opposed to days like last week. I should still have everything finished by Friday, but I can’t guarantee it will all be done early in the day.

This week has definitely not been going great for me in terms of drawing. The stress of a lot of things that happened lately have been hitting me, and it’s been difficult to motivate myself to work on complex things like my weekly comic pages. I’m definitely still putting the work in, but it’s been exceptionally slow this week. I still have time to line my BF page so after that I’ll still only be a single step behind this week and should still be able to have everything colored by end of Friday.

I could have wrapped this scene up in this page, but there’s still one thing I would have been skipping that I’ve decided against skipping. This means this scene will be stretched a few more pages before moving to their next location.

Sorry for the longer than usual delay. I could go on a rant about things going on lately but I’ll save everyone some time and just say that I’ll still try and have everything done by Friday at the expected time. Luckily this page ended up being a simpler one in terms of how long the lines will take as it’s just a single intermission page to lead into the next page.
